correction: I feel it doesn't live up to it's hype.

I actually thought the lines fed pretty fast and it actors walking the line were good designs. The shame is that the groups didn't seem to br broken up enough. It's one thing to walk into another group, but to be fed in directly behind the next group kinda ruined your scares. $20 was still not bad. I don't feel it doesn't live up to it's hype. We thought it was rated #3 scariest HH in america for a reason. It seemed like not enough actors inside either. Our house this year has 40+ actors.

I'm from F&W Schmitt Farm's Haunted Mansion of Melville (PLUG=Schmittfarms.com) and last night was my first time at the FOF and i can tell you honestly I did enjoy it and nit pick. I thought the decor was very good. There was a bit too much fog which was choking and too much "blinders" the rag chains in alot of hallways. There was a band last night, I don't know how late they played but they were ok. The flame breathers were good, but it was very short. You can't complain about lines....tbc

Couldn't believe how horrible the FOF was this year. The line to get into the HH was 2 HOURS LONG!!! For that long of a wait I expected more. There was no band the Sat. night I went. Unless they perform before 8pm. The best part of the night was the rides and that wasn't worth the $20. Sad to say that my yearly trip will no longer be after this year. Too many little snot nosed teenagers.

Bring back the alcohol and raise the age limit to 21!!!!

I went to forest of fears about 3 years ago. Back then they had more haunted houses and it wasn't too bad. Not the greatest. THIS YEAR - This was the worst haunted house/slaughter house that I have ever gone to... rip-off! I would never go back there. People were rude.. food was cold. Just horrible.

those people obviously went to the wrong foreswt ot fear. yeah the power went out briefly, but it did come back on. the fire show was only 20 minutes long, but there were 3 shows a night. and obviously the third fire preformer was invisible to christina. i attended every day opening weekend and the bands on sat and sun were pretty good. and every night the fire show got better and better. this one guy in the fire show did a sick trick where he blew a fire ball while doing a handed cartwheel

RIPOFF! 20 bucks per person. The haunted house was mildly scary, the fire show, was 2 people blowing fire for about 20 minutes, there was no band, there was ONE attraction when I went, and it was closed. There was one hot dog booth, and 3 little incense shops. It was pathetic. The bathrooms were disgusting, in the haunted house, there was water leaking everywhere in one part of the house, WET fake blood on the walls that stained your clothes... Such a joke. I'd never go there again.

.....and another thing. There are pictures posted by "Scott & Michelle." I have no idea where their pictures cam from but it was not The Forest of Fear. Either they went to the wrong event or they work for the company who produced it. Pretty sad and really sleezy.

The rides were decent but the electricity went off at around 9PM and never came back on. This year they replaced a lot of the included attractions with schlocky pay games, a dunk the clown booth and something really idiotic where you pay to throw tomatoes at a guy who insults you with a bullhorn. All and all, the Slaughter House aside, this year was very disappointing and I sincerely doubt we will be back again. It was definately worth $10 a person but $20 was a ripoff.
